Marist  Students Attend Swimming Masterclass with Olympic Champion Adam Peaty

Two students from The Marist School, Sunninghill, enjoyed the opportunity of a lifetime as they participated in a swimming masterclass event with Triple Olympic Champion, Adam Peaty. The event took place at Hydrolife, the UK’s largest Jacuzzi retailer, based at Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot, Surrey.

Marist swimmers Lillianna (Year 6) and Heidi (Year 8) were invited to spend the morning with Adam Peaty alongside students from other local schools. The girls took part in a Q&A session with Adam, where they had the opportunity to ask about his swimming superstitions, training programmes, and of course, how he’s getting on with his training for this year’s BBC Strictly Come Dancing competition!

Following his success at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Adam then led one-on-one breaststroke training sessions with Lillianna and Heidi where he shared intricate coaching tips and demonstrations.
