Army Cadets | Ascot
The 4 Platoon Ascot (Irish Guards) Army Cadets – Recruiting Now! Open to all children in secondary education between the ages of 12-18, parading Monday and Wednesdays from 7.30 -9.30pm at the Licensed Victuallers School, London Road, Ascot Activities include : Shooting, Fieldcraft, First Aid, Weapons Training, Physical Training, Map & Compass, Adventurous Training. WThey also run a Duke of Edinbrough’s Award Scheme, and can qualify 16+ Cadets with a CVQO Btech Award in Public Services.No Joining Fee, Uniform is free, and training weekends away are CHEAP. A summer camp is held every year for 2 weeks in the summer holidays. They are available to help at public events (help setting up, packing away, car parking assistance etc), especially between the months of September -December.
