The Friends of St Mary's Winkfield is a charity set up to raise money for the conservation, embellishment and maintenance of fabric and facilities of the medieval church of St Mary's in Winkfield, East Berkshire, south of Windsor.

The Church of St Mary has been a focal point in Winkfield for over 700 years. The Friends' aim is to preserve this magnificent building in the best possible condition for generations to come.

St Mary's is a place of peace and all are welcome. This wonderful building is a piece of English history and our aim is to ensure it remains so.

The cost of maintenance of St Mary's church and of its amenities is wholly carried by voluntary donations. Please help , either by becoming a Friend (follow the menu item above) or by a donation.

You can donate online simply for special projects like the pipe-sponsorship appeal by clicking on the dark-mauve CAFDonate button on the left. You can CAFDonate to the Friends' general fund by clicking the link at the bottom of the page. Both of these will take you to the CAFDonate website, which will process your kind gift. Thank you!!

From time to time, the Friends organise community fund-raising events. Do support these - they are well-documented on this website.

Latimer Minster Church Ascot is an outward looking church for East Berkshire, led by Tim & Vanessa Norman.

Church for all, whether you would normally associate yourself with church or not.

LMA is an informal Anglican church, led by Tim and Vanessa Norman and started in 2014. It is a small, but growing group of people with a desire to develop a house of prayer for East Berkshire and beyond, and to be a place where people join in God’s great adventure to bring positive change.
