The First, Second and Third Year girls at St George’s Ascot were delighted to go to Windsor to see the Queen for the Royal Walkabout on Monday 30th April 2012.
They were absolutely thrilled to be chosen and were delighted when The Queen and Prince Phillip asked about school and thanked them for the flowers.
The girls were accompanied by a group of equally excited teachers and support staff, including one of the catering team for whom it was her last day before leaving on maternity – she was delighted to be there.
The girls waved flags all the way back to Ascot on the bus and there was an air of excitement throughout the day.
