On Sunday 19th November, 2023, the popular  Street Fayre returned to Sunninghill High Street and was opened by the pipers of the Hampshire Caledonian Pipe Band (pictured below), along with Spotlights Musical Theatre Group, the Quince Players, and the 1st Ascot Scouts. There was fun for all the family and a great opportunity for local community groups, businesses and restaurants. The Street Fayre is an brilliant opportunity to unite as a community and showcase all the wonderful things Sunninghill has to offer

Fayre-goers were kept well fed with pure beefburger barbecued by Simmons butcher,  a very popular business in Sunninghill High Street (Order your turkey now !)

Many of the Sunninghill High Street shops were open and there was a wide range of exciting market stalls and food outlets all along the High Street, interspersed with children’s rides and other entertainment.

Father Christmas was in his grotto at Cordes Hall while his  his reindeer waited at the Ascot Day Centre - so local children could present their Christmas wishes in person.

The aim of the event is two fold: to raise vital funds for local organisations and to raise awareness of the village of Sunninghill and its fine selection of unique and interesting shops and businesses.

The organisers, Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council, are most grateful to our Headline Sponsor for this event - Audley Villages - and to the two Main Sponsors - Coworth Park and Ascot Racecourse.
