ASCOT: PLANNED TREE WORKS WEBSITE

For local residents concerned about the felling of a specimen TPOd tree in Blythewood Lane Ascot, at the end of last year, the Royal Borough Arboricultural Officer reports that it had to be removed. The Sweet chestnut was unfortunately heavily decayed such that it was posing a risk to users of Blythewood Lane and neighbours. RBWM have therefore taken the necessary steps to remove it.  This has been publicised on the RBWM website https://www.rbwm.gov.uk/home/planning/tree-management/planned-tree-works    There is a legal duty to replace the tree because it is protected, which will be undertaken in due course. Watch this space to see new tree!
