Due to recession the numbers of people affected by stress and the severity of it is growing. Recession’s impact means more pressure, higher insecurity, longer days. Personally, you can’t change the recession, but you can change how you personally deal with stress. By taking time out to do a focussing exercise (like a relaxation) for only 1 minute, research has shown that stress levels come down and that it is much easier to face challenging situations.
Mental health charity Mind conducted a research a few years ago, questioning employees about their levels of anxiety and more than 26% said they felt dread and apprehension the day before they were due to go back to work after a day or weekend off.


‘Stress Management at your desk’ is a coaching programme that is designed to make stress management easy, accessible and applicable anytime and anywhere. The main ‘ingredients’ are the 1 minute tapes (guided downloads to focus the mind) and the daily emails varying in content from a thought, a tip, a technique and an invitation for contemplation.
