Sunningdale Book Club  meets on a Tuesday evening in Sunningdale, every 4 to 5 weeks. The group meets a variety of books chosen by group members. Sunningdale Bowling Club would encourage anyone who might be interested in taking up the game of bowls to come along to the Try Bowls Day being held at the Club’s Whitmore Lane green on Saturday 4th May 2019. Come along any time between 11am and 4pm and speak to Club Members and take a trial session. All bowls equipment is supplied but you should wear flat soled shoes.

Sunningdale Bowling Club, in Whitmore Lane Sunningdale, is a friendly group of  men and women, with a superb green and clubhouse, tucked away in picturesque surroundings in Whitmore Lane. The club house is used throughout the year for club social events and short mat bowling during the winter, with an active programme of friendly and competitive bowling activities during the summer.

Sunningdale Bowling Club has so much to offer local people who want to meet people in the community, maintain a sporting life, or just socialise and watch the bowling in a very pleasant environment.

The Sunninghill Comrades Club in Bagshot Road, Sunninghill, offers good ales and company.  We have three full sized snooker tables and TV’s in both bar areas (one a six foot projection TV), showing all major sporting events.  There are regular Friday quizzes (at about 9:00pm) and regular Sunday Bingo sessions (at 8:30 pm).  We also hold skittles evenings, usually, about every 3 weeks.  Memberships are available. We are a local NADFAS group which meets on the second Tuesday of every month (except August & December) at : St George’s School, St. George’s Lane, Ascot at 7pm for 7.45pm
There is time for socialising followed by a lecture given by one of the highly recommended NADFAS lecturers. They cover a broad range of subjects including Art, Architecture, Sculpture, Porcelain, Silver, Furniture & Music.

We also organise a number of visits each year to places of interest such as Country Houses, Royal Palaces, Galleries, Museums & Gardens plus short tours in the UK and overseas city tours which have included St. Petersburg, Madrid  and Dresden & Istanbul.
In addition we hold a Summer and Christmas social event each year.
