On Sunday 19th November, 2023, the popular Street Fayre returns to Sunninghill High Street.
Sunninghill & Ascot parish Council is delighted that plans are shaping up for the Sunninghill Street Fayre (formerly called the Victorian Street Fayre). This one day event (running from 12 noon to 4 pm) sees Sunninghill High Street transformed into a busy Street Fayre celebrating the local community. It is an opportunity for local businesses, community groups, schools and other local organisations to showcase themselves.
Hot food & drink will be plentiful and the High Street retailers will be open, offering all their lovely wares and Christmas goodies too. Stallholders offering gifts, craft items, street food and all special interest, wishing to take part should contact Sunninghill & Ascot Parish Council , by email, as soon as possible. events@s-a-pc.com
The event starts with a parade at 12 noon led by the town crier and St Andrews Pipes and Drums. There will be market stalls and food outlets all along the High Street, interspersed with children’s rides and other entertainment including Father Christmas in his grotto and the opportunity to see real reindeer.
The aim of the event is two fold: to raise vital funds for local organisations and to raise awareness of the village of Sunninghill and its fine selection of unique and interesting shops and businesses.
