In relation to the works, which started in January 2019, a series of public engagement events were held locally to enable residents and business owners to meet the SSEN team, find out more about the route of the works and the multi-million pound project to upgrade the electricity network between Ascot and Chobham. As a result of these meetings we have been working with Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council and Surrey County Council to alleviate concerns raised by businesses and residents regarding the ongoing programme of roadworks.

There are no planned interruptions to the local electricity supply and this installation will not affect the existing supplies within the area.
