The Chair of Trustees at Charters School in Sunningdale is leading by example and embodying the school’s motto of Unity, Respect, Excellence. Ellie Wallace has donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Ellie said, “'Why did I do it? I spoke to a friend who works at Coworth Park Hotel after she had cut her really long hair into a bob. She explained she'd cut it for Little Princess and asked me to do the same. One year later, I had my hair cut by Holly at John Jenkins in Sunningdale. The last few months were the hardest. My hair was the longest it had ever been and I was getting it caught on everything. I lived with a permanent ponytail in the end but it was for a great cause.”
