Charters School in Sunningdale come second in quiz.
Congratulations to Marco Jowett 8H, Henry Allen 9A and Callum Barraclough 10E, who made up the Charters School team at the annual Berkshire Geographical Association Worldwise Quiz which was held at Reading School on Wednesday 18th January. They are seen here with the school mascot Waddington, who was much admired!
The students came joint second out of 28 teams with 124 points, with the eventual winners from Reading School only 2 points ahead. The questions were on topics such as English counties and famous world landmarks from space. The final round on country outlines, with 50 points available, was particularly tense which shows just how close a result this was for our astonishing team.
