During the Autumn, the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead made available spring bulbs for local organisations to plant in approved sites within the Borough that are clearly visible to the general public. The Ascot Horticultural Society usually takes part in this scheme and for several years members have been planting daffodils and crocuses at Ascot Wood, along the boundaries with Ascot High Street and Station Road.
