The chapel choir at Papplewick School, Ascot enjoyed a successful and fun three-day tour to Yorkshire at half-term. The fifteen choristers sang services at Beverley Minster and Harrogate Parish Church and gave a concert at Selby Abbey. Choir director Chris Goodwin reported that the congregations and audiences were most appreciative and that the boys thoroughly enjoyed singing in these magnificent buildings with their wonderful acoustics. Sight-seeing round the city of York and a visit to the Jorvik Viking Centre rounded off a memorable tour.

Headmaster Tom Bunbury said "I am so proud of the standard of our choirs at Papplewick and it was a privilege for the Chapel Choir to have the opportunity to sing in these wonderful historical venues and to have the opportunity to visit the city of York."
