BOOK A SLOT HERE      & See List of Test Centres in Bracknell Forest

Bracknell Forest residents who are most at risk of catching and spreading COVID-19 without knowing it, can now go for asymptomatic testing twice a week.

Around one in three people who have coronavirus have no symptoms and will be spreading it without realising it.

Widening testing to those showing no symptoms (called ‘asymptomatic’), will help find people who are infected and infectious but unaware they might be spreading the virus. This can help to break the chain of transmission and provide you and your clients peace of mind that you are virus free.

In Bracknell Forest, this type of community testing will initially be offered to:

  • anyone who is required to leave home for work or volunteering, or for the management of local COVID-19 outbreaks.
  • This includes essential workers who have received the COVID-19 vaccine as the vaccine does not stop them from being able to spread the virus.

If you believe you are eligible for testing, visit the Community Testing Page to book an appointment. The tests are completely free. Initially testing will be done at four sites within the borough with more sites opening in the coming weeks.  Details of the locations can be found on the booking form. Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis.  If you are unable to book a slot, please keep trying, as new slots will become available as more sites open.

As part of keeping our community as safe as possible, we urge all eligible workers to take the test regularly. Breaking the COVID-19 chain is important to stop the virus from spreading.
