OASIS BEAUTY, SUNNINGHILL
With the shopping done, it's time for some body beautiful treatments. Bio gel nails last for three weeks, making nails are a good place to start.
Oasis Beauty is run by Dawn Bradly, in her stylish, home-professional salon. As well as nails, Oasis offers a Prom Package, covering waxing, Dermalogica,teenage facial, manicure and pedicure ( Bio Gel also suitable, and even longer lasting, on the toes).

The old Bio Gel nails are removed . The process involves the 'soak-off', paring the nail, cuticle work , trimming.

The process takes over an hour, with a clear gel as a base coat, followed by two coats of gel, finishing with a high gloss sealing coat.

FEET FIRST BEAUTY
Lash Perfect is ideal preparation for a special occasion like the Prom . You can have many different lenghts of lash, to create
different looks - natural, dramatic, way out, reds, blues, corner kick, to name a few!
A popular effect is a 'kick' - longer lashes at the corners, to enhance your natural look.
This treatment normally costs £80 for a full set but, specially for Prom season, it will cost £65 for the month of May.

One of the final preparations is make up. Some girls book two appointments - one for a practice. Kath Broomfield models the
procedure at Feet First Beauty (see photo below), as she prepares for the Leavers' Ball. Feet First charges £20/ half hour appointment.
The first step is to cleanse, tone and moisturise . Diane uses New Skin. Foundation is applied, followed by Cover Up.
A handy tip is to use Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, which contains light-reflecting particles, to deal with any under- eye shadows.
The next stage is to highlight the cheek bones.
The eye make up is built up in layers. Kath's dress is a a burgundy colour so Diane selects complimentary bronze/gold colours.
Even with the lash extensions, you can wear mascara on the bottom lashes.
Lip Treatment: It is important that the lip liner is not too strong on a young person. A pink shade is selected , close to Kath's own skin tones.
A lip brush is used to apply lip colour, which is not too dark or harsh.. A little iHigh Beam by Benefit is applied to the lip bow to create a pout.
The lovely finishing touch is sparkling lip gloss, suitable for evening make up.

Another Prom custom, happily imported from America, is the giving and receiving of a corsage. It is a nice finishing touch for the Prom
dates to exchange his and hers buttonholes and wrist corsages, or for family members to make a present of an arrangement.

The Prom is over all too soon and many students welcome another opportunity to wear their wonderful outfits .....
Our contemporary style and artistic images make us a popular choice for teenagers and we have a wide range of products
to choose from. This popularity has spurred us on to create our 'Models Collection'. This is an extended photo shoot that
incorporates both a studio and a location shoot over 1.5 hours. In this time we do a variety of different outfit changes,
different poses and different set ups. This shoot is open to couples and up to 3 other friends. The collections includes
a beautiful 3 image folder that will hold 3x 8"x8" photos of your choice.
We also offer each client a facebook profile photo free of charge and the option of having their own website to show their
friends their photos.
Around Prom time this is a great opportunity to have your photo shoot before the prom after a hair and make up trial or
even after the prom where you may be a bit more adventurous in your dress. Either way this is a special time for students
