Thames Hospice staff were delighted to welcome Clare Matheson from The Thames Valley Learning Partnership (TVLP) and a number of students from local schools for the unveiling of four stunning sculptures made from willow on Monday 9th May 2022.
A willow sculpture making workshop took place last month at Beechwood School for art students from four local schools including Beechwood School, Eton College, Holyport College and The Langley Academy. Organised by the Thames Valley Learning Partnership (TVLP), the workshop brought together more than 30 pupils to create four willow sculptures for the Hospice. The sculptures will be displayed permanently in our gardens for everyone to admire.

Also enclosed is photo of Harvey at the sculpture making workshop, who is quoted in the news release but unable to make yesterday’s event. The Hospice cared for Harvey’s mother so the project was very poignant for him.
