Local Windsor & Ascot professional dog photographer launches a once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate the lives of dogs. ASCOT, BERKSHIRE (January 22nd, 2024) – Millers Image Limited, the Ascot and Windsor based professional dog photographers, announced today the launch of “60 at 60: Celebrating the Lives of Dogs”, a fundraising project for a national charity dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children and adults with various challenging medical conditions. Tails of the World is an international group of professional pet photographers, each celebrating the dogs of their region with their own “Tails of . . .” fundraising coffee table book. MIL Pet Photography was selected into the international collaborative and in November 2022, published their first book – “Tails of Windsor & Ascot”. Caitlin J. McColl founded the Tails of the World Collective following the success of her first book, Tails of Melbourne. Her dream was to unite pet photographers across the globe in a mission to raise funds for much needed animal charities with beautiful photography and heart-warming stories. “When Chris formally applied to join the Tails of the World Collective, I was so happy to officially welcome him on board. MIL Pet Photography and Chris’ work is absolutely gorgeous, and Tails of Windsor & Ascot was a beautiful addition to our series,” McColl said. She added “Tails at 60: Celebrating the Lives of Dogs is a truly exciting project, and I can’t wait to see their second book in the Collective published in December 2024.” McColl uses her experience to guide and mentor this international group of professional pet photographers to through the development and publication of the fundraising books. “To date, this Collective has raised over $25,000 for animal charities around the world,” confirmed McColl. “I thank Chris and Sue for their second book project in our mission.” 60 at 60: Celebrating the Lives of Dogs is a fundraising project by Chris & Sue Miller. This project captures the true personality of dogs on location, mostly around Windsor & Ascot in beautiful pet photography. Chris Miller turned 60 in November 2023 and decided to spend the 12 months through to November 2024 not celebrating his life, but instead celebrating the lives of dogs.

There will be two elements for the 60 dogs involved, whereby their stories will be told: 1. Each dog will have their own on location photography session between March - July 2024 and then feature with their own double page spread in the limited-edition Tails at 60: Celebrating the Lives of Dogs limited-edition coffee table book which will be published in time for Christmas 2024. 2. One photograph from each session will be selected and incorporated into a single piece of composited art, which will be titled "Celebrating the Lives of Dogs". The artwork will tell the story of the lives of all the 60 dogs and will ideally include as many different types of dogs as possible. This original piece of art will potentially have some public viewings before becoming a legacy in the new Reception of their charity Support Dogs' new offices and training centre. “All previous editions of this Collective across the world has raised funds for a dog charity and we wanted to do the same. We are proud to partner with Support Dogs who rely solely on voluntary donations and receive no government funding. Our goal is to raise more awareness and at least £3,000 for this amazing charity,” Miller said. Support Dogs is a national charity dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children and adults with various challenging medical conditions. They provide, train and support specialist assistance dogs to achieve this through:

• Autism assistance dogs for autistic children.

• Seizure alert dogs for people with epilepsy.

• Disability assistance dogs for people with physical disabilities.

“We are delighted that Chris and Sue want to help us and raise funds through their 60 at 60 fundraiser. £50 from each registration will be donated to us and help us to provide life changing support for those affected by epilepsy, autism, and disability. Thank you to Chris, Sue and all the dog lovers associated with this once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Chris Daykin, Support Dogs. The “Tails at 60: Celebrating the Lives of Dogs” book will contain dogs on location, mostly in and around Windsor & Ascot. Each double page spread will have a series of photographs and tell the story of a specific dog – celebrating their life. This book is for Dog Lovers by Dog Lovers. Whilst it is likely most purchasers will be the dogs' owners, all Dog Lovers will enjoy this book, particularly those who want to see Windsor & Ascot and its surrounding areas from a dog's perspective! "As part of the Tails of the World Collective, we are proud to be delivering this photographic coffee table book celebrating the lives of 60 dogs” Miller said. “I’m excited to be celebrating the lives of dogs by creating a legacy composite piece of Art that will hang in the charity’s Reception area. I feel privileged to be able to photograph such amazing dogs and now honoured to tell their stories on their behalf through Art, and of course the “Tails at 60: Celebrating the Lives of Dogs” coffee table book too.” The Millers have been overwhelmed by the pre-registration interest and believe that the registrations will need to close ahead of their original target date of 29th February 2024 as they are strictly limited to a maximum of 60 dogs sessions for the Book project. The photography sessions will take place between March and July, covering two seasons and hopefully more predictable weather! There is a launch party that will take place in December exclusively for those participating in the project, coinciding with the release of the book.
