2021 GCSE Results 

Charters School is pleased to report some outstanding achievements by its students in their GCSE and BTEC qualifications this summer.

The students have worked incredibly hard during a very uncertain time and gained a fantastic set of results.  These results will help them move on to the next stage in their education, with a large number returning to the Sixth Form.  We wish all our students the very best for the next stage of their education, whether with us or at a Sixth Form College. 

98.8% (239) of students completed GCSEs

Overall, 37.1% of students achieved 5 or more 9 – 7 grades

Overall, 87.1% achieved 5 or more 9 - 4

Overall, 82.8% achieved 5 or more 9 - 4 (including English and Maths)

% Students entered for Baccalaurate- 24.7%

% Students in Cohort achieving EBacc (Standard Pass) 22.6%

% Students in Cohort achieving EBacc (Strong Pass) 16.7%

Mr John Fletcher, the school’s Headteacher said: “We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students, especially after such a difficult and disrupted year. They have worked incredibly hard to ensure that they were well prepared for the assessments that took place. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto A Level, T Level and BTEC courses and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future.”
