With the marriage of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle taking place, just down the road, in Windsor on Saturday 19 May 2018, The Lexicon has announced that it will be hosting a free screening of this historic event, live in Bracknell town centre.

From 11.00 am until 4.00 pm visitors to The Lexicon will be able to sit on the giant steps to view the Royal Wedding on an enormous 30 x 18 foot screen located in Bond Square (near Waitrose).

In addition, a red double-decker bus will be situated in the square, selling strawberries and cream, and there will also be free craft activities, where children can make their own Royal crowns and decorate cupcakes.

People can also leave their own message to the happy couple in a commemorative congratulations book which will be delivered to Windsor Castle.

Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon says:  “We think that the Royal Wedding provides a fabulous opportunity for visitors to The Lexicon to watch what promises to be a stunning occasion, all together in one place, to create a patriotic buzz in the town.”

Whittard will also be distributing samples and tasters on the day.
