The North Ascot Drop In, founded by Jane Moss and still runs  - many years later

Many people have become regulars at the group, but new people are always very welcome to enjoy tea, chat and homemade cakes.  As well as the weekly get-togethers, the group enjoys outings and parties, such as Christmas and birthday parties, and day trips to the Kennet and Avon Canal  - not forgetting last year's  huge Diamond Jubilee party ( CLICK  to see report).

The North Ascot Drop In receives donations from major sponsors such as Ascot Round Table, as well as the Waitrose Community Matters scheme. The group also raises money itself, with Bring  & Buy sales and similar events.

 SUNNINGDALE BOWLING CLUB: Sunningdale Bowling Club, in Whitmore Lane Sunningdale, is a friendly group of  men and women, with a superb green and clubhouse, tucked away in picturesque surroundings in Whitmore Lane. The club house is used throughout the year for club social events and short mat bowling during the winter, with an active programme of friendly and competitive bowling activities during the summer.
