Age Concern - Supporting Senior Citizens

The local Age Concern makes later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience for all Senior Citizens living in the local area. They do this  by promoting their well being and independence by:

·          working in partnership with Local Authorities and Statutory bodies

·         caring for clients in our purpose built day centre

·         providing support for carers

·         offering transport to our day centre, for nail cutting, and for hospital appointments

·         organising holidays, outings, and entertainments

·         providing Christmas hampers for 500 vulnerable older people

·         providing information fact sheets on a variety of subjects

·         offering insurance schemes developed with the needs of the over 50s in mind.
