It is ten years since Electra’s father was murdered by her mother, and her world collapsed. Time has not eased her grief nor softened her all-consuming desire for revenge. Carrie Cracknell, the director of the original production of this haunting play describes it as a tale of a family, a tale of grief ‘about how losing someone abruptly can leave a scar so deep that it never truly heals’. It is a play about murder, about mothers and daughters, and of siblings forced to live with and confront the choices made by their parents…

The Quince Players are an amateur dramatics society based in Cordes Hall, Sunninghill. We have been putting on plays, pantomimes and comedy nights since 1945! After a very well received Wizard of Oz panto in January, we are now gearing up for the spring production of Murder Weapon by Brian Clemens. Performances will be on 11-13 May and 18-20 May. For the opening night, we will be selling tickets at half price (£7 only) with £5 of every ticket sold going to our nominated charity, Thames Hospice. Do come along and support our production and see if you can figure who the murderer is!
