The New Egham Singers hold regular concerts, raising money for charity. They recently held  a Summer Prom and Concert to raise money for the sick and premature babies Charity, First Touch (information below)

About New Egham Singers:

New Egham Singers (NES), one of the two choirs that make up Egham and District Choral Society, is a non-audition choir of more than 120 members of all ages and musical abilities who get together once a week under the guidance of Musical Director Guy Bunce. About Dr Guy Bunce:

Guy Bunce (b.1980) graduated in 2001 from Kingston University where he specialised in composition and won the Kingston Composition Prize. He went on to achieve a Masters degree and PhD in composition at Royal Holloway University of London. When not composing, Guy enjoys freelancing as a professional conductor and arranger for both choirs and instrumental ensembles. New Egham Singers is one of his choirs. http://www.guybunce.co.uk/

Choirs Performs Songs from Stage & Screen to Support Local Good Neighbours Charity | Local community choir, New Egham Singers, will perform their first concert of 2023 on Saturday 1st April at The Rose Theatre, St Mary’s School, Ascot. The concert will feature fantastic hits from well-known television, cinema and stage shows and will be supported by a superb 7-piece live band.
Founded in 2009, New Egham Singers (NES), which now incorporates Progeny Chamber Choir, has become a familiar part of the life of the area. NES, led by Musical Director (MD) Dr Guy Bunce, welcomes singers of different backgrounds, ages and musical abilities get together at fun weekly rehearsals to sing a wide variety of songs. Whilst Progeny, overseen by MD Patrick Martin, tackles slightly more challenging music. Through its many performances, the choir has raised thousands of pounds for a variety of local charities.


New Egham Singers are proud to announce that they will be supporting Chertsey & Addlestone Good Neighbours (C&AGN) in 2023. This amazing group of volunteers provides practical neighbourly support to members of the local community including driving them to medical appointments, local day centres, taking them shopping or to visit friends, or simply dropping in for a chat and a cup of tea. They organised over 4,000 trips and visits last year and demand for their services is ever-increasing. Christine Leach, Chair of the Trustees of C&AGN, said…
“I am delighted that New Egham Singers have chosen Chertsey & Addlestone Good Neighbours as their nominated charity and we are very excited to be working alongside them this year”.
The event will start at 7.30pm and New Egham Singers will showcase a variety of music from much-loved and well-known screen and stage shows including La La Land, Joseph, Les Misérables, The Rocky Horror Show, and many more. It promises to be a thoroughly entertaining evening – one not to miss! And all profits from the concert will go to Chertsey & Addlestone Good Neighbours.
