GRAND PLANS FOR THAMES HOSPICE AS SHOP EXPANSION COMMENCES| Local charity, Thames Hospice, is commencing its expansion and refurbishment of its Homestore and Distribution Centre.

Positioned just off Dedworth Road in Windsor, the store features quality second-hand furniture and household items.  The expansion work will see an increased sales area and a wider choice of stock across all departments, including electrical goods.

The refurbishment will give the store a fresh and contemporary feel, in line with the newly revamped Dedworth shop. It will continue to trade throughout its development, which is expected to be complete by the end of July.

Debbie Raven, Chief Executive of Thames Hospice says: This is a very exciting time for us and part of our continual work to improve the shopping experience for our customers. Moreover, all the profits from the sales of the wonderful donations we continue to receive help support Thames Hospice patients, their families and carers.”

Thames Hospice currently has 14 stores, with more planned. Quality stock keeps the shops current and ensures customers return. As part of the refurbishment programme, the Distribution Centre - which ensures that the best products are distributed effectively and efficiently across the growing portfolio of stores - will also be expanded.
