Catherine Blundell, Vicar of Winkfield

Winkfield and Cranbourne have a new vicar to look after St. Martins, St.Peters and St.Marys churches. The Benefice has welcomed Catherine Blundell! A service was held on April 27 at St.Mary;s.

Ordained for ten years, Catherine was previously Team Vicar in the Bracknell Team Ministry, with special responsibility for St.Paul's in Harmans Water. She served her curacy in St.Peter's with St.Marks Hospital in Maidenhead, her ministry always within the DIocese if Oxford.

She is currently involved with the Diocesan Synod, STEM (The Diocesan Board for Stewardship, Training, Evangelism and  Ministry). Catherine has a particular passion for evangelism , with a particular interest in relating the gospel to contemporary culture in traditional church, as well as in new ways of being a church community.

As to the family, who have now moved into the vicarage, Catherine has a husband who works in banking and is a  Licensed Lay Minister, a daughter at Exeter University and a son at Ranelagh. 

In her spare time, Catherine enjoys bird watching, walking and reading.
