Art in Heaven Childen's Art Exhibition

There's still time to see the Community Children's Art Exhibition at All Souls' Church, South Ascot , for the weekend  of Mothering Sunday, the 21st/22nd March. This endeavour will tie in with the Mothering Day services, both at All Souls' and at St. Michael's in Sunninghill. The theme for the artworks is loosely based on the subject of our families and what the term family means to individual children, it could for example embrace the family of man and encompass environmental issues. Children from local schools and groups, inclusing Holy Trinity, St.Michaels's, South Ascot Village School, St.Francis, Cheapside and South Ascot Browmies and sunday schools, submitted individual paintings, drawings or other artworks, and classes or other groups will produced a collective work , maybe a collage or montage or sculpture (such as Noah's Ark, pictured below).

There were small prizes for individuals and groups and their recipients will be democratically decided by the children themselves. Refreshments were served, for exhibition visitors o enjoy.
