Inner Wheel Supports Local Youth Club

Click on the photo to enlarge it   Ascot Inner Wheel President, Hilary Mear was recently invited to attend the TRAX Youth Club (North Ascot) Evening of Achievement.  Earlier in the year the Inner Wheel ladies had agreed to help with the redecoration costs of the club room following a letter from Lewis Bye, (pictured).  Lewis then arranged a small group of young people to paint the pool room during the summer holidays.  This enabled them to gain an ASDAN Award for helping the community.

The presentations were made by the Mayor of BFBC, Councilor Chris Turrell  Lewis also received his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award along with two friends Tyler Willis and Callum Stephenini.  William Blake pictured here with Lewis in the newly painted pool room was presented with his Bronze DofE expedition certificate.

President Hilary received flowers and a very special vote of thanks for the donation given by Ascot Inner Wheel which enabled the re-decoration to take place.
