Papplewick Cleans up at Ascot Heath
On Thursday, 1st July, a group of 12 boys and three teachers from Papplewick School headed down to Ascot Heath armed with litter pickers, gloves and rubbish bags. The team spent 45 minutes picking up litter before heading back to school.
"I can't believe how much rubbish there is!" and "Oh my Gosh, more litter!" were examples of some of the comments from the boys.
The volunteers all really enjoyed helping the community and cleaning up an area so close to their school. In the short time the boys were there ,they amassed seven bags full of rubbish and were shocked by the amount they were able to collect so quickly.
