The Sunningdale Parish Council Walk on May 23 contained all the ingredients for a perfect community event: Devised and led by  Parish Chairman, Cllr Christine Gadd, the group of walkers discovered the hidden, leafy by  ways, learned fascinating facts about some maginifcient local trees, were alerted to hitherto unnoticed details on local buildings and were rewarded with afternoon tea on the glorious terrace at Northcote House. Interest in local detail was heightened by the prize quiz. Prizes were donated by Sunningdale School, Pizza Express, Sunningdale Lounge and Vanilla Delicatessen. The photographs are just some of the points of interest on the walk, which featured Sunningdale School, Lynwood and Sunningdale Park.
