Daisy Pulls it Off by Quince Players

The Quince Players Spring production of Daisy Pulls It Off at Sunninghill's Cordes Hall, got off to an uncommonly soopah start  on Thursday May 6 with a Pauls Trust  (click for more info) fundraising Gala Night, in the presence of honoured guest, The Worshipful Mayor and Mayoress of the Royal Borough of WIndsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Jess Grey ,and Mrs Chrsitine Grey.

Daisy Director, Andrew Darling, pictured below, boosted the fundraising effort at Gala Night with an interval game of Heads and Tails. The last lady standing won a bottle of champagne. Pictured left with the The Worshipful Mayor of RBWM, Cllr Jesse Grey, are cast members, Becky Hawkes (Monica Smithers) and  Tracy Warren (Clare Beaumont).

Daisy Pulls It Off is highly entertaining and extremely well done.  All the members of the cast are brilliant. Look out for the excellent 14 year -old Abigail Chenoweth as Daisy Meredith and Rebecca Wire as her best friend, Trixie Martin.  Especially entertaining is Nick Holbrook as headmistress,  Miss Gibson - almost a pantomime dame ! Andrew says that he chose Daisy Pulls It Off, as he wanted to give audiences something to lift the spirits - Job done there !

Everyone concluded it was a great evening and a very welcome relief from the politics raging outside !
