On Sunday 17th January, during the regular weekly Bingo session the club Chairman at the Sunninghill Comrades Club,  David Draycott was able to present a cheque for £500 on behalf of club members to Mr Doug Bowden of the Macmillan organisation.

Each week members of the Sunninghill Comrades Club can take part in a “Bonus Ball” draw.  A proportion of the money raised is paid out to the member choosing the number of the week’s main lottery bonus ball and the rest goes into a charity fund.

When a substantial amount of money has been saved the Management Committee discusses who should benefit.

This year several members of the club, their families and members of staffs’ lives have been touched by Cancer.  It was decided that the MacMillan Organisation would be a worthy cause to benefit.
