Papplewick boys in final of Berkshire Young Singer of the Year competition | Papplewick year 7 pupil, Ruzgar Takmak, performed in the Classical section of the Final of Berkshire's Young Singer of the Year on Saturday 3rd October and despite very fierce competition was commended for his beautiful performance of Lascia Ch'io pianga by Handel.

The event was held as part of the Windsor Festival and was streamed live. 

Papplewick old boy George Brattle also competed in the Folk Section of the Final.

Headmaster Tom Bunbury said “ I am so proud of both boys, their talent is quite outstanding.”
