SECRET GARDENS FUNDRAISER TO RAISE MONEY FOR NEW HOSPICE | Step inside some of Berkshire’s finest gardens in new virtual tour

Thames Hospice are inviting local gardening enthusiasts and garden lovers to join them on their new ‘Secret Gardens’ virtual tour to raise money for their new hospice.

Secret Gardens is an exclusive virtual tour of eight local beautiful gardens and venues. For a suggested donation of £10 per person, people will be able to take a look inside some of the most stunning gardens in the local area which are rarely open to the public, including films taken in Taplow Court, Stanlake Park Wine Estate and Deepwood Stud Farm near Maidenhead.

Alison Evans, Head of Events and Community Fundraising, says: “Many of our community may still be isolating or shielding at home. Our exciting new Secret Gardens fundraiser gives people the opportunity to sit, relax, and take a virtual tour around eight beautiful handpicked local gardens from the comfort of their own home.”

The Virtual Secret Gardens Tour will also offer people an exclusive sneak preview of the new Thames Hospice which is set in eight acres of stunning landscaped gardens by Bray Lake.

Thames Hospice is £630,000 away from hitting its £3 million fundraising target to complete the new hospice build. Set to open its doors to patients, their loved ones and visitors in October 2020, the new hospice will enable the charity to care for even more local families now and for generations to come.

Thames Hospice is now asking their community to come together and support their local Hospice in the final push to help raise the remaining funds so that they can provide outstanding care and hope to families when they need it most.
