Geography just would not be the same without field trips in the cold and rain - and Papplewick   year 8 students travelled down to Swanage in Dorset on their first day back to school after the Christmas break to carry out a field work study required for their Common Entrance projects.  This was based on the processes that occur in rivers from source to mouth and they visited the stunning coastline to look at the process and features such as Durdle Door and the Jurassic coastline, Lulworth Cove and the River Corfe. The project accounts for 20% of their final Geography exam mark.

Headmaster Tom Bunbury said  " The boys take great pride whilst working in groups and collecting their data, and I hope that the projects undertaken reflect their enjoyment and enthusiasm."
