Following Charters School’s recent production of Beauty and the Beast, the Sunningdale based school would like to say thank you to The Prince Philip Trust who awarded them a grant of £1,000 so that they could hire professional sound equipment for their shows. The trust supports projects that help young people to take an active part in new opportunities and encourages young people to access the arts, gaining new experiences and skills.

For many years, a parent has volunteered his expertise at every school production and has passed on his professional knowledge in everything sound related to a whole generation of students. The school, which has a culture of nurturing talent, now welcomes back a group of past students that Mr Paul has taught, to inspire and teach a new generation of student sound technicians.

The grant from The Prince Philip Trust, enabled the student sound technicians to work with the school’s alumni to create an amazing sound experience for the audience at every performance.
