To lessen any possibility of ‘beginning of term blues’ after the long, hot summer break, Papplewick boys were pleased to have the chance to have a fun day with their fellow classmates on what is called ‘Form Thursday’ All boys in the school were treated to a range of school trips out (years 5-8) including murder mysteries in Windsor, climbing walls in Reading, a visit to RAF Duxford, visit to the Bluebell Railway, and trip to the Science Museum. The Lower school enjoyed a slap up BBQ lunch at school followed by fun activities within the school grounds when years 2- 4 took part in a nature treasure trail, and created imaginative bird-feeders in the trees.
Tom Bunbury, Headmaster said “Form Thursday is designed to assist the boys to gel together in their new forms at the start of the year and is of special value to new boys proving a popular bonding experience for all involved.”

Papplewick is a day, weekly, and full boarding preparatory school for around 200 boys between the ages of 6 and 13.
