Hundreds of local residents enjoyed the OUTDOOR Cordes Hall Cinema on Saturday13th July 2019. This superb community event , organised by the team which brings us the monthly Cordes Hall Cinema, was held in the field behind the St. Michael's Church, Sunninghill. Prosecco corks popped and the crowd picnicked until dusk fell and Bohemian Rhapsody began - a truly great film which had the audience singing along. It was a magical setting, with the almost- full moon as background. The atmosphere was such, it felt like being part of the Live Aid crowd at Wembley in 1985! The sharper-eyed members of the audience will also have noticed the International Space Station passing overhead . Truly an evening with something for everyone and a significant sum of money will have been raised to continue the excellent renovations at the much-loved Cordes Hall!
