On Monday 26th February 2018 the RAF Roadshow visited   Charters School in Sunningdale  . Year 8 students enjoyed an interactive show about engineering involved with flight, with many students taking part in the demonstrations!

The RAF are keen to engender enthusiasm and interest in careers in science and technology, not just in the Royal Air Force but across the industrial sector. With nearly half of RAF personnel being involved in engineering they are eager to make sure that young people know there are career choices available to them. 

The RAF were asked to visit Charters School by Physics teacher Mrs Chaudhary, who along with her science colleagues is keen to highlight careers in STEM to all students. She said, “'It was a captivating show which presented the students with some amazing demonstrations on the science of flight using drones, balloons and jet engines!”
