Charters School in Sunningdale   | Charters School held an extended assembly on Monday 27th November to celebrate another outstanding year of GCSE achievements.   Prizes were presented to students by Ms Ellie Wallace, Chair of Governors.  Speeches and citations were given by Co-Headteachers, Mr Richard Pilgrim and Mr Martyn Parker, Mr Chris Rodgers, the Head of Year who looked after and led the students in Year 11 and Director of STEM Mrs Kate Hill who presented science prizes generously provided by Lilly UK. 

Mr Richard Pilgrim, Co-Headteacher said, "During the prize-giving assembly we were able to acknowledge the success of our students last summer in their GCSE examinations.  They were a great year group who looked after one another, added so much to school life, were full of fun and secured outstanding academic results.”

Omar Barakat – The John Waddleton Cup (for the most improved student in Year 11)

Niamh Reid-Smith – The Wallace-Ames Cup (for character and resilience)

Bryony Woods & Rachel Popplewell – The CSA Cup (for service to the School)

Rebekah Shaw – The Kemp Cup (for the most outstanding student in Year 11)

Alexandra Povey – Biology Lilly Science prize

Abby Ives – Chemistry Lilly Science prize
