On Sunday, 17th September, Holy Trinity Church, Sunningdale held a community tea party at the Broomhall Recreation Ground— similar to the carnival — to welcome their new vicar, Reverend Jon Hutchinson, to the parish. There was a really good turn out as the crowd enjoyed bouncy castles, face painting, a Pimms & Beer tent, tea, cakes and refreshments. The Scouts ran a coconut shy,  a second hand bikes stall (lovingly recycled by Geoff Streeter), and a tug of war.

Adam Afriyie, MP for Windsor, and Phillip Bicknell, RBWM Councillor, also presented a £900 cheque to the Sunningdale Scout Group (pictured above), on behalf of Adam and the Parliamentary Club, a group that raises money for Scouts around the country.
