The Ascot Horticultural Society will held their superb Summer Show on July 22nd 2017, in the sports hall at the Licensed Victuallers School. Trophies were presented by the Royal Borough Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr John Lenton and Mrs. Margaret Lenton.  As well as spectacular displays of flowers, fruit and veg, floral art, domestic produce, handicrafts, photography and children's classes, musical entertainment was provided by the David Seager Street Organ, Bracknell Model Railway and an opportunity to feed carnivorous plants. Stalls were also run by Ascot Wildlife, the Chavey Down WI and the Berkshire Family History Society.

Visitors also had an opportunity to enjoy afternoon teas, a raffle and to purchase plants. On Wednesday August 9th, Arthur Negus will speak on 'Out and About'. The Autumn Show will be at Carnation Hall on September 2nd at 2.30pm.
