Partnership with Sodexo, delivering outstanding hospitality, fine dining and on-site catering, rebranded |

The partners of Ascot Racecourse and Sodexo are delighted to announce that the joint-venture has been rebranded “1711 by Ascot.

This enables the operation, which has grown from strength to strength, to adopt a new customer facing identity of its own.

“Ascot Racecourse was founded in 1711 by Queen Anne and has been associated with the best in food and drink offerings for much of its 300+ year history,” said Jonathan Parker, Director of Food and Beverage at the racecourse.

“We considered a wide variety of names for the partnership and decided on what we hope embodies the history of this great racecourse simply, and elegantly.”

1711 by Ascot is responsible for providing catering operations across the racecourse’s 26 annual racedays and further conferences and events at the venue throughout the year.

From June, all joint venture staff will operate under the 1711 brand name and all brochures, uniforms, menus and such like will carry the newly unveiled logo.

James Stanley, Sodexo Sports & Leisure managing director, said: “1711 by Ascot cements the long-term partnership between Sodexo and Ascot Racecourse.

“Together we have a track record of delivering world-class experiences to racegoers, conference and events customers. Through 1711 by Ascot we will extend this relationship in driving excellence that reflects the great royal heritage of Ascot and our joint future ambitions.”
