A small delegation of Rotarians and their partners from Rotary Club of Ascot lunched at La Cloche at the Carpenters restaurant in Sunninighill near Ascot, on Friday March 31st.

They were there to honour the two owners, Rachid Noui and Franck Jourdan, by awarding them Honorary Membership of Ascot Rotary Club.

This was in recognition of the tremendous help and support, both financial and physical that Franck and Rachid have given the Rotary Club and indeed the local community generally, over more than 10 years.  Of particular note is their hosting of the Annual New Year’s Day Sunninghill Fancy Dress Wheelbarrow Race presentation ceremony, over that period.

After the meal, President Andrew Vallance presented Franck with plaques containing Certificates commemorating their Honorary Membership.
