Roli Ranger's Londis Shop, which opened in May 2015 in Sunninghill High Street, has won the Independent Achievers Academy 2015 Retail innovation Award (in association with the Post office)

The very attractive Londis  corner shop (at the junction on Queen's Road and Sunninghill High Street, formerly the Dragon Shed) is a great asset to the street. As well as being a very pleasant shopping experience, it is not just for last minute convenience, but a destination. As well as all the core products you would expect of a good convenience shop (milk, newspapers, Lottery tickets), there is a range of breads baked on the premises, top quality fruit and veg, vinegars on tap, coffee beans ground on the spot,  a coffee and chocolate machine,  fancy gateaux, a good range of wine, locally- sourced meat and much more. The shop even has an olive oil tasting area so customers can try before they buy. Staff are very helpful and will accept suggestions for items to stock. Not surprisingly Londis Sunninghill achieved its yearly target in the third week of trading!

Being a small shop, Londis is  'open all hours' - Monday - Friday 7am to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday - 8am to 10pm.

The success of the Sunninghill Londis follows awards galore for Roli Ranger's North Ascot Londis and post office, in New Road.

The Finalists were:

  • Dave Hiscutt, Londis Westham Road
  • Paul Cheema, Nisa Malcolm's Stores
  • Roli Ranger, Londis Sunninghill
  • Sunder Sandher, One Stop Working With Royals
